What is Email Tracing?

Email tracing is a method for monitoring the email delivery to intended recipient. Most tracing technologies use some form of digitally time-stamped record to reveal the exact time and date that an email was received or opened, as well the IP address of the recipient.Email tracing is useful when the sender wants to know if the intended recipient actually received the email, or if they clicked the links. However, due to the nature of the technology, email tracing cannot be considered an absolutely accurate indicator that a message was opened or read by the recipient

Method To Trace an Email

Sometimes we got abused mails in our mailbox and we want to know where this email is sends.

Lets’start

First of all open the mail which you want to trace. And open there headers and copy all the text.

Example

I need to trace the “swati Kapoor” ‘s mail then I open this email.

When it opens click on “show orignal” button.

After click on “show orignal” button there is text open in new tab, and you have copy all the text.

After it open www.whatismyipaddress.com and click on “Trace Email” button.

After click on trace mail there is window open and paste your headers which you copied.

Paste all header in this box and click on “Get Source”

After click on “Get Source” you get all the detail of Sender.

Here you got your targeted email detail and you trace her/him with help Google map. Fill it’s Latitude and Longitude in Google Map and you got her/him exact location.
